What do we know?

Why you should listen to us.

Despite the obvious title, many people underestimate the hosting element of chalet hosting. We certainly did!

We continue to work as chalet hosts ourselves, but it took us many years to realise that the reason we get rave reviews from our guests is because we put in the time and effort to being good hosts. This means we care about what our guests think and want them to have the best possible ski holiday they can have.

We discovered that happy guests lead to happy hosts. The more effort we put into hosting our guests the more rewarding we find the work and the easier it becomes. This also means, away from the job, we can continue to make the most of our time in the mountains.

Through Fresh Tracks our ethos is on helping students develop confidence in their hosting skills to be able to carry out the job to the highest possible standards and in the most efficient ways.  This approach has ensured many more happy hosts who have gone on to succeed in finding a chalet host job and have amazing seasons.
