Course Tutor

Steve Hancock

Continually looking for new and exciting experiences and challenges, Steve has a head full of ideas and enjoys nothing more than putting all his efforts into making them a reality. Bringing a wealth of knowledge from a management background in engineering and finance, Steve has sought more adventure from starting up businesses and spending time sharing his passion for working, skiing and partying hard. Young at heart but with a multitude of terrible dad jokes, Steve enjoys nothing more than an aperol spritz accompanied by good food and good conversation on any topic. When let lose in the mountains Steve loves to ski tour to find the ultimate off piste routes but he equally finds fun perfecting his favourite turns on groomed runs and dabbling in the park. As a chalet host, alongside his partner Becky, he has hosted in a mix of chalets from smaller homely ones, to working as part of larger teams and privately in luxury villas for numerous winters and summers across Europe.

Course Tutor

Becky Beasley

Hard working and discipled, Becky gives 100% into everything she puts her mind and attention to. With a background in youth work and social care services, Becky has always loved to meet new people and to help and inspire others to achieve their goals. Taking her methodical and organisational skills and her enjoyment of baking, preparing and serving food with care and attention, Becky found her calling alongside her partner Steve as a chalet host. With the experience of lots of seasons working in chalets of all sizes in winter and summer, Becky is happiest sharing and encouraging others to fulfil their dreams. Whilst late in life to discover the joys of skiing, Becky doesn’t hold back on the hill, relishing the chance to ski tour to find challenging off piste lines. Enjoying not just the fitness and health benefits of skiing she also loves the beauty of being in the mountains and the good vibes and friendships that are found there.

Course Tutor

Ben Lacey

With a diverse skill set behind him, Ben applies himself to all tasks with an eye for efficiency and attention to detail like no one else. He takes meticulous pride in his work, striving to deliver the best possible service he can. Along with a focus and determination to make the most of life, Ben has bounds of energy and is happiest sending it big in the mountains, whether that be in the park, on the piste or in the back country. Always looking to progress himself personally and professionally, Ben is fantastic at inspiring others and willing to share his own experiences, no matter how embarrassing, so others can learn. Despite being an excellent snowboarder, racing for his University, Ben now choses to ski and found the role of the chalet host has given him the opportunities he has sought to live the life he wants. Ben has worked as part of larger chalet teams, as a single chalet host and together with his partner Anna, as a chalet couple for several winter and summer seasons.
